Why are all of these international flags flying in Cedartown, Georgia? It’s in honor of Thursday’s 5K wheelchair race. People from all over the world will be in town to race and watch. If you are in the area Thursday, join us. More info here: https://www.facebook.com/CWATC/
Did you know there is a golf museum in Cedartown? The Doug Sanders Golf Museum pays homage to the golfer who was born here in 1933. Even if you don’t like golf you will enjoy seeing the exhibits dedicated to presidents and celebrities that Sanders met.
We try to eat at local restaurants but sometimes you just need Waffles House. This is the meal I order even if it is breakfast—a patty melt with chunked, smothered and covered. Do you love @wafflehouseofficial? What is your favorite meal?
I love seeing murals and downtown Cedartown, Ga. has some of the best I’ve every seen. Another cool thing about this town—it’s the site of a 5K wheelchair race. Athletes from all over the country will visit this sweet small town next week. Check out our Facebook page for more info!

It’s been a busy week and I am tired. This may seem like an odd picture but it’s one of my favorites. And it makes me happy today. It’s a reminder of cooler temperatures and beautiful flowers while on a Saturday morning trip to @smithgilbertga in Kennesaw, Georgia.
